Aaagh – my team did have a name – the CareShield Walkers. My only excuse is that I haven’t been in the office much during the past couple of weeks.  I’m sure Gloria and Leno - and the dog - told me but I obviously failed to take it in.  We’re all really looking forward to our team walk (whichever distance we finally agree on, as we’re still in negotiations) but the dog wants to be the sponsored point of contact.

I’m still pondering this option – I’m not so sure, although fully appreciate he’s much more beautiful and arresting than me, which could make a significant difference.   I know I’m biased but as you can see from the pic, it would be difficult for him to be any more beautiful and arresting than he is already.

 I also think it’ll be very good for him to come on this walk from a socialisation point of view: all the people, children, dogs, hustle and bustle and all the attendant ice creams and other forms of doggy temptation. I think I’m going to have to have eyes in the back of my head, now I come to think about it!  He’s not a great fan of being on a lead for a whole walk but as it’s for such a good cause he’s agreed to put up with it.

Now, should we prep’ and begin a training schedule ………………  where have I left my walking boots  ……………. ?
